Detailed Review
The MUDEREK Lawn Tractor Leaf Bag is an add-on attachment designed to expand the leaf collection capacity of ride-on lawn tractors and zero-turn mowers. Measuring 79 by 52 inches, it slips directly over your existing collection system hood to hold large volumes of yard debris, reducing the number of stops needed during fall cleanup.
Durability and airflow management are central to this design. The bag is constructed from 420D Oxford cloth laminated with PE waterproof fabric, providing the necessary abrasion resistance to handle repeated dragging across lawn turf. An enlarged breathable mesh section allows trapped air from the mower engine to vent out smoothly. This prevents excessive air pressure from blowing the bag off the tractor while keeping leaves contained inside.
Installation and cleanout are straightforward. You simply slide the bag opening over the mower collection hood, tighten the dual drawstrings, and lock them in place with the integrated clips and rear metal buckle. When it fills up, a heavy-duty zipper at the end allows you to empty the contents directly onto a pile or compost area without having to untie or remove the entire bag from the mower hood.
Keep in mind that this product includes only the fabric bag. You will need a riding mower or tractor equipped with a 2-bag material collection hood to mount it properly. Additionally, users must take care during installation to ensure the fabric remains clear of the engine exhaust to prevent heat damage.
Verdict: This large leaf collector is a practical choice for riding mower owners who want to speed up yard cleanup. If you already have a 2-bag collection hood, its sturdy 420D build and convenient dump zipper make leaf gathering significantly more efficient.
