(2026 Upgrade) Aiper Scuba S1 Robotic Pool Cleaner, 270 Min Runtime, Floor/Wall/Waterline/Shallow

The Aiper Scuba S1 Robotic Pool Cleaner automates swimming pool upkeep by scrubbing multiple surfaces without manual guidance. It is designed for pool owners who want systematic debris removal across varied pool depths without having to manually vacuum the basin.

Cleaning coverage spans four distinct zones: the floor, walls, waterline, and shallow sections that measure at least 12 inches deep. Mobility is handled by built-in Caterpillar Treads that climb vertical walls, while 11 integrated sensors use WavePath algorithms to map the pool layout in real time and minimize overlapping passes.

Filtration relies on a dual-layer setup combining a standard 180-micron filter with an ultra-fine 3-micron insert. This pair captures coarse leaves alongside fine sand and dust. Operation is managed through selectable modes, including an Eco Mode that runs for up to 270 minutes, alongside Floor, Wall, Auto, and Scheduled modes that run up to 180 minutes.

A primary limitation is depth restriction, as the unit cannot clean shallow areas under 12 inches deep. Additionally, setting up custom automated schedules requires connecting through the mobile app. The unit comes backed by a 2-year warranty.

Verdict: The Aiper Scuba S1 is well suited for pool owners seeking thorough waterline-to-floor cleaning and fine particle filtration. Its long battery life and multi-zone coverage make it a solid choice for routine pool care.

A great fit if you:

• Want automated cleaning for pool walls, floors, and waterlines.
• Need fine particle filtration down to 3 microns for dust and sand.
• Prefer setting custom weekly cleaning routines via an app.
• Need long battery cycles up to 270 minutes for daily maintenance.
