Beatbot Sora 30 Pool Vacuum, Floor & Wall & Waterline & Platform

The Beatbot Sora 30 is a cordless robotic pool cleaner designed for pool owners who want comprehensive multi-surface maintenance without manual scrubbing. It handles routine debris removal across inground surfaces, covering pools up to 3,229 square feet on a single charge.

Cleaning coverage spans four distinct zones: pool floors, walls, the waterline, and shallow platforms. Using built-in ultrasonic sensors, the robot detects and maneuvers onto tanning ledges and shallow areas as low as 8 inches deep, eliminating the need for manual touch-ups in hard-to-reach sections. Suction is driven by a 6800 GPH HydroBalance structure that pulls in heavy debris like leaves in a single pass without clogging.

Power comes from a 10,000 mAh battery that supports up to 5 hours of continuous floor cleaning. Retrieval is designed to avoid physical strain. When a cycle finishes or the battery dips below 12 percent, the unit automatically surfaces, parks at the pool edge, and releases internal water so it remains floating and lightweight. Users can then call it over using one-touch controls in the Beatbot mobile app instead of fishing with a pole.

Keep in mind that while the 10,000 mAh battery lasts up to 5 hours for floor-only sessions, multi-zone cycles covering walls and waterlines may adjust total run duration. Operating the remote retrieval feature also requires installing and using the companion app on a compatible mobile device.

Verdict: The Beatbot Sora 30 is an excellent choice for owners of large pools or pools with tanning ledges who need thorough waterline-to-floor cleaning. Its high suction power, long battery life, and automated surface parking make pool care straightforward and physically effortless.

• Have a large pool up to 3,229 square feet that needs multi-zone floor, wall, and waterline care
• Have shallow tanning ledges or platforms at least 8 inches deep
• Want a cleaner that parks at the surface and drains water for easy lifting without using a pole
• Deal with heavy leaf fall and need high suction capacity

Consider something else if you:

• Prefer a basic plug-and-play cleaner without smartphone app connectivity
• Have shallow steps or ledges under 8 inches deep

How does the robot park when the cleaning cycle is finished?
The vacuum automatically rises to the surface when the cleaning cycle ends or when the battery drops below 12 percent. It parks at the edge of the pool, drains internal water, and stays floating for retrieval.

Can this cleaner handle shallow platforms and ledges?
Yes. The unit uses ultrasonic sensors to navigate shallow pool areas, ledges, and platforms down to an 8-inch depth.

How long does the battery last on a single charge?
The 10,000 mAh battery delivers up to 5 hours of continuous cleaning in floor mode, covering pools up to 3,229 square feet per charge.

What pool areas does the Sora 30 clean?
It features 4-zone cleaning that covers pool floors, walls, waterlines, and platforms.
