Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet Upright Vacuum, Swivel Steering for Maneuverability, Triple Action

The Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet is a full-size upright vacuum built specifically around the challenges that come with owning pets. If your home deals with fur on carpets, debris scattered across hard floors, and hair pressed into couch cushions, this machine is designed to address all three in one package rather than requiring separate tools.

The swivel steering is one of the more practical design choices here. Instead of pivoting the whole body of the vacuum around a piece of furniture, you can guide the head with a natural wrist motion. That translates to fewer lifted-and-repositioned passes in a cluttered living room or bedroom. The triple action brush roll works across multiple surface types, using specialized bristles to loosen hair and dirt that has worked its way into fibers rather than just skimming the surface. For pet owners, that distinction matters because embedded fur resists a simple pass.

On hard floors, scatter-free technology is a genuinely useful feature. Standard brush rolls on hard surfaces can fling lightweight debris like litter or dry food ahead of the vacuum. Scatter-free mode captures that material instead, so you are not chasing the same mess across the kitchen. The included specialized pet tools extend cleaning to upholstery, which is where a lot of pet hair ends up between floor cleanings. Edge-to-edge suction also means the vacuum pulls in debris right up to baseboards and into corners without requiring a separate attachment pass.

A few things the listing does not address are worth noting. Dustbin capacity is not specified, so frequent emptying may be needed in heavy-shedding households. As an upright, it is less compact than a canister or stick vacuum, which could matter for stairs or tight storage. The listing does not mention a cord length, a weight, or whether any filters are washable, so those details would need to be confirmed before purchase.

Verdict: This vacuum suits pet owners who want one machine that handles carpets, hard floors, and upholstery without switching between products. If you live in a home with multiple pets or heavy shedding, the combination of the triple action brush, scatter-free technology, and included pet tools makes it a well-rounded choice for daily upkeep.

A great fit if you:

• Have one or more pets that shed on carpets, hard floors, and furniture regularly
• Want a single vacuum that transitions between surface types without swapping machines
• Clean rooms with a lot of furniture and need a head that steers around obstacles easily
• Deal with lightweight debris like litter or dry food on hard floors that tends to scatter

Consider something else if you:

• Need a compact or cordless option for quick stair cleanups or small storage areas
• Prefer a canister or handheld style for more flexible reach in tight or overhead spaces

Does this vacuum work on both carpet and hard floors?
Yes. The triple action brush roll is engineered to work across multiple surface types, and the scatter-free technology is specifically designed for hard floor use so debris is captured rather than pushed around.

Does it come with any attachments for furniture?
The listing includes specialized pet tools for upholstery, so you can use the vacuum on fabric surfaces like sofas and chairs beyond floor cleaning.

Is this vacuum part of any charitable program?
Yes. Bissell donates a portion of proceeds from product sales to the BISSELL Pet Foundation, which supports finding homes for homeless pets.

How does the swivel steering work in practice?
The swivel head pivots to follow your direction of movement, which makes it easier to clean around chair legs, furniture corners, and other obstacles without lifting and repositioning the vacuum repeatedly.
