Bissell Easy Sweep Compact Carpet & Floor Sweeper, 2484A, Teal

The Bissell Easy Sweep 2484A is a manual, non-electric sweeper designed to pick up surface debris quickly without the bulk of a standard vacuum. It suits anyone looking for a simple tool to manage daily messes, pet hair, and crumbs across multiple floor types.

Because it operates without batteries, charging cables, or power outlets, this sweeper is always ready to use. It glides across area rugs, low carpets, and hard floors to sweep up dirt and hair. The slim, lightweight design lays flat to reach beneath low furniture, and the built-in hanging loop on the handle offers convenient vertical storage in tight closets.

Maintenance is straightforward thanks to the dual bottom-empty dirt bins, which let you release collected debris directly into a trash can. The brush roll is also fully removable, allowing you to clear tangled hair and fibers quickly without struggling around fixed components.

As a manual sweeper, its performance relies on physical push motion, and it is explicitly intended for hard floors, area rugs, and low-pile carpet rather than deep, thick carpeting. The product details also do not state specific bin capacity measurements, so frequent emptying may be necessary during larger cleanup tasks.

Verdict: The Bissell Easy Sweep is a practical choice for homeowners and apartment dwellers wanting a lightweight, cordless floor cleaner for quick touch-ups. It delivers hassle-free daily upkeep across hard surfaces and low-pile rugs without needing a power outlet.
