Detailed Review
The BISSELL Little Green Max Pet SmartMix Carpet Cleaner (model 38572) is a portable deep cleaner designed to tackle set-in pet messes, muddy paw prints, and embedded dirt. It caters directly to pet owners who need a dedicated spot-cleaning machine without the hassle of manually mixing cleaning solutions.
A standout feature of this model is its SmartMix Technology, which automatically combines the proper ratio of formula and water, taking the guesswork out of setup. The machine relies on a triple action system that sprays cleaning solution, scrubs the carpet fibers, and applies suction to lift out deep spots. The included two-tank design keeps clean water and collected dirty water completely separate, making refills and disposal straightforward.
For targeted cleanup, the unit includes a self-cleaning Tough Stain Tool that allows you to rinse out remaining residue and dirt directly through the attachment. It also comes with a specialized Pet Hair Removal Tool to pull up loose fur, along with an extended hose and cord setup that provides extra reach for tricky spots around the home.
While the machine includes an 8-ounce trial bottle of PET PRO OXY Spot and Stain formula with Urine Eliminator and StainProtect Technology, the provided liquid will only cover initial cleanups before you need a refill. Additionally, the listing does not specify exact fluid capacities for the dual water tanks or the exact measurements of the longer hose and cord.
Verdict: The BISSELL Little Green Max Pet is an excellent choice for pet owners dealing with frequent accidents, shedding, and tracked-in mud. Its automated mixing and dedicated pet cleanup attachments provide a practical, targeted solution for routine household spot cleaning.
