Bona Hardwood Floor Premium Spray Mop - Includes Wood Floor Cleaning Concentrate

The Bona Hardwood Floor Spray Mop is an all-in-one floor care system designed to simplify routine cleaning on finished wood surfaces. It combines an integrated spray mechanism, a refillable liquid reservoir, and a wide cleaning head to eliminate the hassle of traditional mop-and-bucket setups. This package suits homeowners and renters with polyurethane-treated wood floors who want a fast, streak-free cleaning routine without hauling heavy gear.

Daily floor upkeep is straightforward thanks to the extra-large mop head, which sweeps across broad floor areas in fewer passes. A built-in swivel mechanism lets the head maneuver around furniture legs and tight spots, while soft rubberized corners flex on contact to shield baseboards and trim from scratches. For tougher messes, footprints, and dried grime, the handle features a secondary foam grip that lets you apply downward leverage for direct scrubbing power.

The cleaning system relies on a concentrated liquid approach. The mop comes with an empty 34 oz cartridge and a 1 oz packet of hardwood cleaner concentrate that mixes directly with tap water inside the container. Formulated specifically for unwaxed and unoiled wood surfaces, the solution is Safer Choice Certified and contains 95% USDA Certified Biobased Content. It pairs with a dual-zone microfiber pad designed to trap dirt and absorb liquid messes, which can be tossed in the washing machine and reused up to 500 times.

Keep in mind that the cleaner is strictly intended for polyurethane-finished, unwaxed, and unoiled wood floors, so it is not a universal solution for unsealed or oiled timber. You will also need to assemble the mop out of the box, and the package includes just one 1 oz concentrate packet, meaning you will eventually need to replenish the cleaning concentrate.

Verdict: The Bona Spray Mop is a practical, well-engineered tool for anyone maintaining polyurethane-finished hardwood floors. Its wide swivel head, protective bumpers, and reusable 500-wash microfiber pad make routine floor cleaning fast, simple, and mess-free.
