Drywall Sander Tool, KUPERIA 8.5 Amp Popcorn Ceiling Removal Tool, Yellow

The KUPERIA 8.5 Amp Drywall Sander is designed to take the heavy labor out of smoothing drywall, plaster, ceilings, and painted surfaces. Equipped with an 8.5-amp pure copper motor, it gives DIYers and remodelers a dedicated powered tool to handle broad surfaces quickly. With 7 speed settings ranging from 800 to 1800 RPM, it lets you dial in the right pace for delicate paint scuffing or aggressive joint compound leveling.

Dust management is a major highlight of this model. It features a built-in dual-channel auto vacuum system that collects debris directly into the included dust collection hose and bag, capturing up to 97% to 99% of dust when held parallel to the work surface. For hard-to-reach areas, the telescopic rod extends the tool from 3.9 feet to 5.5 feet, while the removable chassis edge allows the sanding disc to sit flush against ceiling corners and wall angles. A 360-degree LED light strip surrounds the head to illuminate surface imperfections in dim spaces.

The package is comprehensive, supplying six basic sanding discs and six heavy-duty grid discs across 100, 180, and 240 grits. It also includes maintenance extras like two replacement carbon brushes, work gloves, hex wrenches, and a carry bag that fits the collapsible handle. The bare sander weighs 8.5 pounds, and the entire assembly with the rod, hose, and collection bag comes in at 9.9 pounds.

Users should note that static buildup can occasionally occur in dry working environments, which the manufacturer notes is normal. Additionally, maintaining maximum dust collection requires you to keep the sanding disc flat against the surface, so vertical angles may allow some stray dust to escape if tilted.

Verdict: The KUPERIA Drywall Sander is a capable, feature-packed option for homeowners and renovators tackling popcorn ceiling removal or room-scale drywall work. With integrated dust collection, extendable reach, and ample included accessories, it offers strong utility for large sanding projects.
