Detailed Review
The EGO Power+ LV5000 3-in-1 Leaf Vacuum, Mulcher, and Blower is an all-in-one outdoor maintenance tool designed to tackle seasonal yard cleanup. It serves property owners who need to switch between blowing stray leaves, vacuuming them up, and shredding them into manageable waste.
Equipped with a six-blade metal impeller, the mulcher condenses up to 16 bags of dry leaves down into a single load, depositing the fine mulch into an included 40-liter heavy-duty collection bag. When switched to blower mode, the tool outputs air volume up to 500 CFM and reaches air speeds up to 210 MPH with the tapered nozzle attached, helping you move large piles of debris across lawns and driveways.
Usability is supported by tool-free conversions when swapping between the vacuum and blower tubes. The vacuum tube features a metal-tipped wide opening to reduce clogs during intake. For handling, the tool includes a variable speed rotary dial, a soft grip auxiliary handle, and a shoulder strap to manage weight during extended cleanup sessions. Built with an IPX5-rated weather-resistant housing, it is made to withstand outdoor elements.
As a trade-off, the tool does not include a battery in the package, meaning you must already own or separately purchase a compatible EGO 56V ARC Lithium battery. In addition, the top speed of 210 MPH is only reached when the tapered nozzle is installed rather than the standard tube setup.
Verdict: The EGO Power+ LV5000 is a versatile, high-powered solution for homeowners looking to streamline yard care with a single convertible machine. It is especially practical for anyone already invested in the EGO 56V battery platform.
