eufy C28 Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop Combo, 15,000 Pa, HydroJet Roller

The eufy C28 Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop Combo is an automated floor cleaner built for busy homes dealing with pet hair, crumbs, and daily spills. By combining heavy suction with an active roller mop and a self-servicing dock, it takes care of both dry debris and wet messes in a single run.

Mopping performance relies on a 28cm HydroJet roller spinning at 270 RPM, fed by 24 water ports for continuous self-cleaning. An internal scraper diverts dirty water into a separate tank so the roller stays clean instead of spreading residue across your floor. For dry pickup, the 15,000 Pa suction power pulls up dander, kibble, and dust, while the DuoSpiral brush resists tangles from hair up to 30 cm long.

The multi-function docking station provides up to 75 days of hands-off maintenance. It empties the robot into a 3L dust bag, washes the mopping roller, collects wastewater, and dries the pad with 50°C hot air to prevent mold growth. For navigation, the robot uses camera-free LiDAR to map rooms and dodge obstacles measuring at least 3x3x3cm, and it automatically lifts the mop 10.8mm to protect short carpets while running at a quiet 54.89dB.

Keep in mind that the mop auto-lift is limited to 10.8mm, which is designed for short carpets and may not clear thicker, high-pile rugs. Additionally, small items under 3cm may not be detected by the obstacle avoidance system, so very thin cables or small toys should be picked up beforehand.

Verdict: The eufy C28 is an excellent choice for pet owners and households with mixed hard floors and low-pile carpets who want powerful suction and automated mop washing without compromising indoor camera privacy.

How does the mop prevent spreading dirty water?
The HydroJet roller uses 24 water ports and spins at 270 RPM against a built-in scraper, which continuously directs dirty water into a separate collection tank.

Will long pet hair wrap around the brush roller?
The DuoSpiral brush is designed to handle hair up to 30 cm (11.8 inches) long without tangling or requiring manual cutting.

Does the robot use cameras for navigation?
No, it uses privacy-safe LiDAR laser navigation to map rooms and detect obstacles at least 3x3x3cm without video cameras.

How does the dock dry the mopping roller?
After automatically washing the roller, the all-in-one station applies 50°C hot air drying to keep it dry and prevent mold.
