Eureka Vacuum Cleaners for Home,Airspeed Ultra-Lightweight, NEU10AE5

The Eureka NEU10AE5 is a bagless upright vacuum built around one clear priority: being as light and easy to move as possible without giving up the ability to clean both hard floors and carpets. At 7.7 pounds, it sits firmly in the featherweight category for full-size uprights, making it a practical choice for anyone who finds heavier machines tiring to push or carry between floors.

The 10.5-inch cleaning path is the key number for daily efficiency. Wider than many compact vacuums, it lets you cover a room in fewer passes. The suction is designed to pull dirt and hair from both hard floors and carpet, so you do not need a second machine or a manual switch between surface types. For households with a mix of rugs and bare floors, that flexibility matters.

Maintenance is kept simple by a washable filter. You rinse it, let it dry, and put it back, which removes the ongoing cost and errand of buying replacement filters. The on-board accessory storage is another practical detail: a crevice tool and a dusting brush snap directly onto the body of the vacuum. When you need to clean a baseboard, a couch cushion, or a windowsill, the tools are already there. The handle also releases quickly so you can attach those tools to the end for above-floor reach.

A few things the listing does not spell out are worth noting. Cord length, dustbin capacity, and the exact filter drying time are not stated, so shoppers who care about those specifics may want to check before buying. The 10.5-inch path, while decent, is narrower than what wide-body uprights offer, so very large open rooms may take a bit more time to cover.

Verdict: This vacuum makes the most sense for people in smaller homes or apartments, anyone who wants a light machine they can carry easily, or households that want to avoid the recurring cost of replacement filters. If you need a heavy-duty machine for very large spaces or thick carpet, you may want a more powerful option.

A great fit if you:

• Live in an apartment or smaller home where a compact, easy-to-store vacuum is more practical than a large upright
• Want to avoid buying replacement filters and prefer a washable, reusable one
• Have a mix of hard floors and rugs and need one machine that handles both
• Find heavier vacuums tiring and want something you can carry up stairs without effort

Consider something else if you:

• Have very large rooms where a wider cleaning path and bigger dustbin would save significant time
• Need detailed specs like cord length or dustbin capacity confirmed before purchasing
