Hayward Poolvergnuegen Suction Pool Cleaner (2 Wheel) Pools up to 16 x

The Hayward Poolvergnuegen 2-Wheel Suction Pool Cleaner offers an automated way to clean in-ground pools up to 16 by 32 feet. It connects straight to an existing pool skimmer or dedicated suction line, allowing pool owners to maintain their water without adding a separate booster pump.

Debris management relies on patented turbine vanes, which are engineered to avoid clogging while preserving suction power across various flow levels. To maintain suction over varied surfaces, adjustable roller skirts adapt to uneven bottoms. The cleaner tackles full coverage, traveling across the pool floor, up steps, and along the waterline. Its patented tire treads provide the grip needed to maneuver over obstacles like raised main drains.

Navigation is handled by internal pre-programmed steering routines. During regular operation, the unit periodically reverses its left wheel, allowing it to turn freely and cover different areas of the pool without stalling in corners. It is also designed to operate with longer hose setups to reach the entire perimeter of a 16x32 pool.

As a trade-off, this two-wheel model is tailored specifically for pools measuring up to 16x32 feet, so it may not be suitable for significantly larger installations. Because it relies on your existing suction line or skimmer, your pool filtration system must be running during operation.

Verdict: This cleaner is an excellent choice for owners of pools up to 16x32 feet who want dependable floor-to-waterline cleaning. Its obstacle climbing and anti-clog turbine vanes make pool upkeep straightforward without needing extra pump equipment.
