Meguiar's Ultimate Car Polish is a 473ml pre-waxing glaze designed to refine paint before adding a protective coat. It targets the minor imperfections that dull a finish, making it a dedicated step for car owners who want extra clarity and gloss from their detailing routine.

The formula works to gently and quickly remove fine swirl marks and towel marks. By smoothing these light blemishes, it allows the paint to produce clear, mirror-like reflections rather than a hazy look.

It also features conditioning oils that add rich depth of color, which is especially noticeable on dark-colored vehicles. The polish is safe for use on all glossy paint finishes, including modern clear coat layers.

As a pre-waxing glaze, this product is made specifically to prepare surfaces for a wax rather than serve as a final sealant. The product details do not specify whether application pads or towels are included, nor does it list compatibility with matte or satin surfaces.

Verdict: Meguiar's Ultimate Car Polish is ideal for drivers wanting to remove fine swirls and enhance paint depth before waxing. It is a solid choice for anyone detailing dark cars or clear-coated glossy finishes.
