Pop Up Pod - Privacy Shower Tent, Dressing Room, or Portable Toilet

The Wakeman Pop Up Pod is a freestanding outdoor privacy enclosure designed for quick shelter on road trips, camping excursions, sporting events, and conventions. It provides an immediate private space for changing clothes, taking an outdoor shower, or housing a portable toilet without requiring any tools or frame assembly.

Setup takes seconds because the structure automatically pops open once removed from its case. The shelter features a 190T polyester body with a dual-sided zippered door that allows easy entry and exit from either side. When you want open airflow or easy access, the door rolls up and secures in place using the built-in loop and toggles. It also includes a removable bottom, making it adaptable whether you need bare ground for drainage during a shower or a closed setup for changing.

Securing the shelter is straightforward regardless of the ground surface. It comes equipped with four ground stakes and guy lines for staking into soft dirt or grass. If you are setting up on hard ground or sand, two sewn-in exterior pockets let you insert your own sandbags to add stability against the wind. When packed away, the entire shelter collapses down into a 1.8-foot diameter zippered round carry bag that fits in car trunks, under truck seats, or inside large beach totes.

When planning your setup, keep the dimensions in mind. While the peak interior height reaches 6.2 feet, the zippered door opening measures 4.1 feet tall, which means taller adults will need to duck when stepping inside. Additionally, while the tent includes pockets for sandbags, the sandbags themselves must be purchased separately if you plan to anchor on surfaces where stakes cannot be driven.

Verdict: The Wakeman Pop Up Pod is a practical, budget-friendly solution for anyone who needs an instant private stall for camping, outdoor events, or travel. Its automatic setup, dual anchoring options, and compact storage make it a solid choice for campers and event attendees looking for hassle-free privacy on the go.
