roborock Q7 M5 Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo, 10,000Pa HyperForce Suction

The Roborock Q7 M5 is a hybrid robotic cleaner built to tackle both dry floor debris and surface stains simultaneously. Designed for busy households with mixed flooring, it combines heavy-duty suction with a detachable mopping module to keep high-traffic rooms clean with minimal manual intervention.

Strong debris pickup comes from its 10,000Pa suction system, which lifts embedded dirt and pet hair from carpets, tile, and hardwood. To prevent routine maintenance headaches, it uses a dual anti-tangle system featuring a JawScrapers Comb main brush alongside a specialized side brush. The electronically controlled mopping system allows you to tailor water output across three levels: low for wood flooring, medium for tile, and high for tough kitchen spills.

Navigation is handled by a LiDAR sensor that rapidly scans the layout of your home to plot direct cleaning paths. Using the companion app, you can customize your floor plan by adding furniture, pet items, and floor materials. The app also lets you set no-go zones, schedule cleanings, select suction modes, or utilize voice commands. For extended cleaning sessions, the onboard 400ml dustbin and 270ml water tank support up to 150 minutes of continuous mopping over areas as large as 2,260 square feet.

There are a few operating limits to keep in mind. The unit connects exclusively to 2.4G Wi-Fi networks, so 5GHz bands will not work during setup. Additionally, the rated 60dB quiet volume and the maximum 150-minute runtime both apply specifically to mopping-only mode, meaning battery endurance and sound output will vary when utilizing higher vacuum suction levels.

Verdict: The Roborock Q7 M5 is a solid choice for homeowners looking for automated floor care that pairs serious suction with customizable mopping. It provides fast mapping, app-based zone control, and dependable hair management for pet-friendly spaces.
