Schneiders BlockAide Blanket Reproofer for Horses | Long-Lasting Water & Oil Repellency

SchneiderSaddleryandTack BlockAide Blanket Reproofer is a specialized fabric treatment designed to restore water and oil repellency to horse blankets. It provides horse owners with a practical way to extend the working life of their gear without replacing expensive turnout gear.

The spray formula is built to work across both natural and synthetic fabrics while maintaining fabric integrity. Applying the treatment is straightforward: you spray it from a distance of 6 to 12 inches to achieve thorough coverage. A single 32 oz bottle holds enough solution to treat 3 to 6 turnout blankets, making it a functional option for maintaining multiple pieces of tack.

Durability is another key feature, as this commercial-grade reproofer is designed to withstand multiple cycles of laundering and dry cleaning. That resilience means you do not have to reapply the spray every single time the blanket gets washed or cleaned.

One limitation to consider is that the listing does not specify recommended drying times or application temperature ranges. Additionally, blanket coverage ranges from 3 to 6 turnouts depending on the size and fabric of each piece, so larger blankets may consume more liquid per coat.

Verdict: SchneiderSaddleryandTack BlockAide Reproofer is well suited for horse owners looking to renew weather and oil protection on multiple turnout blankets. Its ability to survive repeated laundering makes it a reliable choice for extending the lifespan of natural and synthetic equestrian fabrics.

• Care for natural or synthetic horse fabrics that require regular maintenance
• Want a treatment that holds up through multiple washes and dry cleaning cycles
