Shark Navigator Lift-Away Vacuum, HEPA, Pet Hair, White/Silver, NV356E

The Shark Navigator Lift-Away NV356E is a multi-surface upright vacuum designed for households that need thorough floor-to-ceiling cleaning. It handles both carpet and hardwood surfaces with strong suction, making it a reliable tool for capturing embedded dirt, daily debris, and shedding pet hair throughout the home.

Its standout feature is the Lift-Away canister design. By detaching the portable pod from the floor nozzle, you can carry it to reach stairs, window blinds, baseboards, and furniture. The included dusting brush and crevice tool attach directly to the pod to help you clean tight crevices and delicate upholstery without struggling to balance the entire upright unit.

Filtration is another key strength for allergy-conscious households. Built with an Anti-Allergen Complete Seal and a HEPA filter, the system traps 99.9% of dust and non-living allergens down to 0.3 microns based on standard ASTM F1977 testing. When maneuvering around rooms, the integrated swivel steering allows for responsive steering around table legs, tight corners, and bulky furniture.

As an upright model, it relies on a traditional frame that some users may find less compact to store than a stick vacuum. The manufacturer also does not list specific figures for the power cord length, total unit weight, or dust bin volume, so shoppers wanting exact dimensions will have to look beyond the basic specs.

Verdict: The Shark NV356E is a versatile choice for pet owners and households wanting reliable multi-surface suction and certified HEPA filtration. It is especially suitable for anyone who frequently cleans stairs, upholstery, and tricky above-floor spaces.
