Shark Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum, Grey, IX141

The Shark IX141 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum is a versatile cleaning tool designed to handle everyday household messes across multiple surfaces. Built for homes with high-traffic zones and pet debris, it combines cordless convenience with a bristle brushroll that works across both bare floors and carpets. Its lightweight, adaptable frame makes it easy to grab for quick daily touch-ups without dealing with a power cord.

Cleaning flexibility is central to this model. It transitions quickly from an upright stick vac to a handheld unit, allowing you to clean furniture, stairs, and tight corners using the included crevice tool and pet multi-tool. A streamlined, low-profile body lets you reach deep under low furniture, while built-in LED headlights illuminate debris hiding in dark corners. When you finish cleaning, the handheld unit unclips and attaches to the base of the wand, allowing the vacuum to stand upright on its own for compact storage.

Maintenance is straightforward thanks to the removable XL dust cup. The integrated CleanTouch Dirt Ejector allows for hands-free debris disposal, dropping collected dirt directly into the trash without requiring you to touch the mess. In terms of power, the vacuum delivers HyperVelocity suction and offers up to 40 minutes of runtime per charge when operating in standard mode as a hand vacuum.

Keep in mind that the stated 40-minute runtime is measured specifically at the hand vacuum level in standard mode, so running the full upright configuration with the motorized brushroll may yield less continuous time. Additionally, the manufacturer does not provide exact physical measurements or specific dust cup volume numbers in the specifications.

Verdict: The Shark IX141 is a practical, adaptable choice for homeowners who need a lightweight vacuum for daily floor-to-carpet cleaning, under-furniture reach, and quick handheld mess pickup.
