Shop Vac Extractor Attachment Kit for Wet/Dry Vacuum

The SplashPower Shop Vac Extractor Attachment Kit turns a standard wet/dry utility vacuum into a carpet and upholstery cleaning machine. Instead of requiring a standalone extractor, this kit uses the suction from your existing workshop vacuum to tackle car seats, stairs, couches, pet messes, and carpets.

Setup is designed around versatility and convenience. The kit comes with 1-1/4-inch, 1-7/8-inch, and 2-1/2-inch adapters, allowing it to connect to 1 to 20 gallon shop vacuums from major brands like Craftsman, RIDGID, Vacmaster, DeWalt, Stanley, Hart, and Kärcher. For fluid delivery, it connects straight to a garden hose or water source, which eliminates the need to constantly refill small built-in tanks during large detailing or cleaning jobs.

The cleaning end features a transparent 3.5-inch extraction head. This clear design lets you monitor dirty water extraction in real time so you know when a section is completely clean. The compact nozzle width also makes it easier to maneuver through tight spaces inside vehicle cabins and between furniture cushions.

As for trade-offs, this is an accessory kit that relies entirely on gear you already own. You need a compatible wet/dry vacuum for suction and access to a garden hose or direct water supply for continuous spraying. The listing also does not state the exact length of the included extractor hose or whether specialized cleaning solutions can be added directly to the line.

Verdict: This conversion kit is an excellent, practical choice for car detailers and homeowners who already have a wet/dry vac and want a cost-effective way to deep clean carpets, vehicle interiors, and upholstery without buying a dedicated extractor machine.

A great fit if you:

• Already own a wet/dry vacuum and want to clean upholstery or car seats without buying a separate machine.
• Need continuous water flow for large auto detailing or carpet cleaning tasks.
• Want a compact 3.5-inch transparent nozzle to reach narrow crevices and monitor dirt removal.

Consider something else if you:

• Do not own a compatible wet/dry shop vacuum.
• Need a self-contained unit with an onboard solution tank rather than a garden hose connection.
