SIMPLI-Magic 21 Gallon (80L) Dual Compartment Kitchen Trash Can - Hands-Free Step Pedal, Soft-Close Lid, Stainless Steel Recycling Bin with Odor Filter (40L + 40L)

SIMPLI-Magic 21 Gallon Trash Can is a stainless steel kitchen trash can designed for households that want waste and recycling organized together in one container. Its standout feature is the dual compartment layout, which gives shoppers a dedicated place for trash and recycling without needing a separate recycling bin in the kitchen.

The two inner buckets each hold 40L, creating an 80L total capacity across the combined design. The color coded compartments help separate waste streams, while the removable inner buckets with handles are designed to make liner changes more manageable. This setup suits buyers who value having one central place for everyday disposal tasks.

The foot pedal opening system keeps the lid hands free, which is useful during meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning. The soft close lid returns quietly after use and includes a stay open feature for longer cleanup sessions. The lid also includes a filter holder compartment that supports odor management with compatible standard carbon filter replacements.

The brushed stainless steel exterior uses a fingerprint resistant finish, so the surface is designed to hide daily smudges and maintain a neat appearance with minimal maintenance. Like any dual compartment trash can, this design focuses on combining two waste needs into one unit, so shoppers should make sure the single size and overall footprint match their available kitchen space.

Verdict: SIMPLI-Magic 21 Gallon Trash Can is a strong fit for shoppers who want a combined trash and recycling solution with hands free operation, soft close features, and odor filter support. It is a better choice for buyers who value organized waste sorting than those who prefer a different capacity or a simpler single compartment option.
