Detailed Review
The UWANT B400 portable carpet cleaner is a versatile spot-cleaning machine designed to tackle household messes, pet accidents, and general upholstery grime. Combining heated extraction with dedicated steaming tools, it offers a practical solution for anyone looking to clean furniture, vehicle interiors, and hard-to-reach corners without relying solely on cold-water scrubbing.
The standout feature is the dual-temperature heating system. In hot water mode, the machine outputs water at 149°F, while switching to steam mode reaches 212°F for stubborn buildup. Paired with 18Kpa of suction power, the unit actively lifts embedded grime and extracts residual water, helping you finish cleaning tasks with fewer passes across fabric surfaces.
Daily usability is simplified through thoughtful design choices. An integrated 2-in-1 tank combines clean and waste water into a single unit, allowing you to carry and empty the entire fluid system with one hand. Operation relies on capacitive touch buttons rather than stiff mechanical switches, using a single press for hot water mode and a two-press safety sequence for steam activation.
While the machine includes specialized steam brush heads for tight spots in kitchens and bathrooms, the manufacturer data does not list specific tank capacities, overall unit weight, or cord and hose dimensions. Buyers looking for specific gallon capacities or extra-long reach will need to consider that these figures are unstated.
Verdict: The UWANT B400 is an effective choice for homeowners and pet owners who need high-temperature steam and strong suction in a portable format. Its dual-mode design makes it especially valuable for versatile cleaning across upholstery, vehicle interiors, and narrow household crevices.
