BISSELL Little Green Multi-Purpose Portable Carpet Cleaner, 1400B

The BISSELL Little Green Multi-Purpose Portable Carpet Cleaner (model 1400B) is a compact spot cleaner designed to pull set-in stains and odors out of carpet fibers. It is built specifically for spot cleaning rather than wiping surfaces with paper towels, which can spread liquid around. This makes it a practical tool for households dealing with everyday spills, pet accidents, or localized stains.

The machine uses a straightforward three-step method: spray liquid onto the spot, scrub the carpet fibers, and suction the dirty moisture back out. Its triple-action formula is scientifically proven to tackle more than 100 common messes, lifting stains permanently while neutralizing odors beneath the surface to leave fabrics looking refreshed.

To reduce refilling trips during cleaning sessions, the unit is equipped with a 48-ounce clean water tank. This larger capacity allows you to clean multiple spots or larger patches in one continuous run without frequent stops at the sink.

Because it operates via a manual spray, scrub, and suction process, using the machine requires physical effort on your part to agitate stubborn spots. Additionally, while the clean water tank size is clearly listed, the product details do not specify the dirty water tank volume, dimensions, or total machine weight.

Verdict: The BISSELL Little Green 1400B is a dependable choice for homeowners who need a straightforward spot cleaner to lift tough, beneath-the-surface stains. If you want a dedicated portable machine to handle targeted messes without spreading them around, this unit fits the bill.
