BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus Carpet Cleaner, 3588F

The BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus (model 3588F) is a dedicated upright carpet cleaning machine built to tackle severe pet messes, embedded dirt, and lingering odors. Designed for households dealing with everyday pet stains or heavy carpet traffic, it combines targeted pretreating with heavy scrubbing power.

For deep cleaning, the machine uses Dual DirtLifter PowerBrushes that deliver double scrubbing action to pull up ground-in dirt. When you encounter tough spots like cat urine or skunk odors, the built-in CleanShot Pretreater dispenses formula directly onto the stain. The machine offers two main cleaning settings: MAX Clean Mode for thorough, deep cleaning performance, and Express Clean Mode, which leaves carpets dry in about 30 minutes for quick turnarounds.

Above-floor cleaning is supported by an 8-foot hose paired with specialized attachments. It includes a 2-in-1 Pet Upholstery Tool for wet and dry pet hair, alongside a 3-inch Tough Stain Tool for tight spaces like stairs and pet beds. Routine upkeep is simplified by an EZ one-piece removable brush roll cover, while antimicrobial brush rolls and a FreshStart Dirt Tank work continuously to prevent odors inside the unit itself.

As an upright machine designed for deep extraction, it requires storing a full-sized appliance and swapping tools for above-floor jobs. While it provides strong cleaning versatility, the product details do not specify the exact clean water tank volume or unit weight, which may be useful details for those planning to carry it up and down stairs frequently.

Verdict: The BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus is an excellent choice for pet owners who need robust spot pretreating, flexible cleaning modes, and dedicated tools for stairs and upholstery.
