DEWALT 20V MAX Orbital Sander, Tool Only (DCW210B)

The DEWALT 20V MAX Orbital Sander (DCW210B) is a cordless random-orbit sander built for woodworkers and DIYers needing fine surface preparation without cord hassles. Powered by a brushless motor, it provides efficient runtime for completing projects smoothly.

Speed management is straightforward thanks to a variable-speed control dial that ranges between 8,000 and 12,000 OPM, allowing you to match the oscillation rate to your specific material. A low-profile height keeps your hand positioned close to the workpiece for steady, precise sanding, while the texturized rubber overmold grip helps maintain a comfortable hold.

For maintenance and dust control, the tool features a dust-sealed switch to keep internal components safe from debris ingestion. It comes with a replaceable 8-hole hook-and-loop sanding pad (model DWE64233) for fast sheet changes, alongside a one-handed locking dust bag. Connecting to specialized vacuum setups is supported, as the dust port fits directly onto DWV010 or DWV012 extractors.

Keep in mind that this is a bare-tool listing, meaning compatible 20V MAX batteries and chargers must be supplied separately. Hooking the sander up to standard 1-1/4 inch vacuum hoses requires the DWV9000 connector, and users who prefer PSA pads will need to buy the separate N373679 service part.

Verdict: This cordless sander is an ideal choice for anyone already invested in the 20V MAX platform who wants adjustable speed control and close-up handling. It delivers dependable dust protection and pad versatility for everyday workshop sanding.
