Dyson V15 Detect Cordless Vacuum

The Dyson V15 Detect Cordless Vacuum is designed for thorough whole-home cleaning across hard surfaces and carpets. It combines automated suction adjustments with specialized cleaning heads to tackle embedded dirt, fine dust, and pet hair without requiring manual settings tweaks between rooms.

Floor cleaning is handled by two dedicated attachments. The Fluffy Optic head illuminates hidden debris on hard flooring, while the Digital Motorbar head clears dirt and actively de-tangles wrapped hair as you clean. The onboard LCD screen provides second-by-second runtime estimates, shows current power modes, and tallies picked-up particles so you can confirm when areas are truly clean.

For above-floor chores, the unit converts to a handheld vacuum. It includes three separate Dyson-engineered accessories along with a Mini Motorized tool that uses a concentrated brush bar to pull stubborn dirt from furniture, mattresses, and car interiors. Whole-machine filtration ensures that 99.99 percent of particles down to 0.3 microns stay sealed inside the machine rather than recirculating into your home.

Keep in mind that the power trigger design is built for energy conservation, requiring you to engage the switch while actively vacuuming. The maximum 60-minute runtime will also vary depending on the floor attachment used and whether the machine automatically increases suction for heavier messes.

Verdict: The Dyson V15 Detect is well suited for pet owners and multi-surface households that need versatile, deep-cleaning power. Its real-time feedback, hair de-tangling brush, and specialized hard floor illumination make whole-house upkeep straightforward and thorough.
