Glad Trash Can with Clorox Odor Protection | Plastic Bin, 13 Gal, Black | Kitchen Waste Bin | Hands Free with Step On Foot Pedal and Garbage Bag Rings

Glad 13 Gallon Plastic Trash Can is a kitchen waste bin designed for shoppers who want hands free disposal and a cleaner looking trash area. Its main appeal is the combination of a step on foot pedal, odor protection lid, and bag securing design, making it suited for homes, offices, or other spaces that need a practical place for everyday waste.

The step pedal design allows the lid to open without touching it, which can make throwing away items a simpler part of daily routines. The lid is formulated with Clorox Odor Protection to help block and trap unwanted smells for the life of the can. Together, these features focus on two common trash can concerns: handling waste without using your hands and keeping odors contained.

Glad also includes an interior bag ring liner that holds trash bags in place while helping prevent bag overhang. This detail gives the bin a neater appearance and helps keep the bag positioned inside the container. The rectangular shape provides a practical format for household, office, or commercial trash disposal, while the plastic construction is lightweight, easy to clean, and designed for regular use.

The main trade off is that this is a manual trash can rather than an automated model, since the lid operation depends on the step pedal. Buyers should also consider whether a 13-gallon capacity matches their waste needs and available space before choosing it. The design focuses on everyday convenience rather than offering multiple capacity options in one unit.

Verdict: Glad 13 Gallon Plastic Trash Can is a good fit for shoppers who want a hands free kitchen waste bin with odor protection and a bag securing ring. It is worth considering for those who prefer a straightforward plastic trash can, while shoppers needing a different capacity or a different opening style should compare other options.
