Hoover CleanSlate XL Deep Cleaning Carpet + Upholstery Spot Cleaner Machine

The Hoover CleanSlate XL is a portable spot and upholstery cleaning machine built to handle everyday household stains, mud, wine, and pet messes. It is designed for targeted deep cleaning on rugs, carpets, and furniture fabric without requiring a full-sized upright unit.

A 96-fluid-ounce tank capacity reduces trips to the sink, letting you tackle multiple stained spots before needing to empty or refill the reservoir. For cleaning tasks, it includes a 7-inch WidePath tool for broader surface coverage, a TightSpot tool for narrow crevices, and a specialized Pet Tool to address tough animal messes.

Maintenance after cleaning is kept simple thanks to a dedicated hose rinse tool. This attachment allows you to flush fresh water through the machine system to wash away lingering dirt and grime so the unit stays clear for the next job.

While the machine includes a trial bottle of oxy cleaning solution, you will need to purchase ongoing Hoover portable spot formulas to keep cleaning. The manufacturer does not state the machine weight, cord reach, or hose length, which are helpful details when evaluating portability.

Verdict: The Hoover CleanSlate XL is well suited for pet owners and busy households needing a portable extractor with a spacious tank and dedicated detail tools. It provides practical attachments for both broad areas and tight spots, making it a solid choice for focused stain removal.

• Want a portable machine with a large 96 fl. oz. tank for fewer interruptions
• Require specific attachments for furniture crevices and wide flat surfaces
