Detailed Review
The Roborock Saros 10R combines automated floor washing and vacuuming into an ultra-low profile chassis. Standing just 3.14 inches tall, it foregoes the traditional top-mounted sensor turret to glide smoothly beneath low sofas, beds, and overhanging cabinets. This slim build solves the common problem of missed dust bunnies in tight spaces, making it a great choice for homes packed with low-clearance furniture.
Cleaning power is centered around 22,000 Pa suction paired with a DuoDivide main brush and FlexiArm side brush designed to avoid hair tangles. For mopping, the dual spinning mops extend outwards to clean right along edges and baseboards. The unit also includes an AdaptiLift chassis capable of clearing thresholds up to 4 cm high while lifting the mopping pads away from carpets to keep them completely dry.
The included 10-in-one Multifunctional Dock handles regular maintenance on its own. It washes dirty mops with 176-degree Fahrenheit hot water, dries them with 131-degree Fahrenheit hot air, empties the onboard dustbin for up to 60 days of use, and dispenses detergent automatically. Fast 2.5-hour charging keeps downtime short, while an onboard RGB camera lets you make two-way video calls to check in on pets.
There are a few limits to keep in mind before setting it up. The robot connects strictly to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi bands, so homes running exclusive 5GHz setups will need to adjust their router settings. Additionally, the feature-rich docking station takes up a substantial footprint to manage dust extraction and water tanks.
Verdict: The Roborock Saros 10R is an exceptional fit for households with low furniture, shedding pets, and mixed flooring. If you want truly hands-off maintenance with hot-water mop washing and thorough edge cleaning, it is well worth adding to your home.
