Detailed Review
The BRINBO S2 Pool Vacuum Robot is an automatic floor cleaner built specifically for above-ground and flat-bottom pools. Designed to reduce the manual labor of routine brushing and vacuuming, this compact cleaner travels across the pool floor on its own to pick up everyday settled dirt, leaves, and sand.
Powered by an internal rechargeable battery, the cleaner operates for up to 90 minutes on a full charge. This allows it to handle pool floors measuring up to 861 square feet without needing a tangled power cord or external hose trailing through the water. Getting it started is straightforward: place the cleaner into the water to begin the cycle, then pull it out once the cleaning is finished.
Debris collection is handled by a dual-layer filtration system that traps larger particles like leaves while also catching finer dirt. The layered setup keeps waste contained inside the robot during operation, and the filter can be accessed directly after each run for quick rinsing and routine upkeep.
Because it is engineered specifically for flat-bottom and above-ground pools, the S2 is limited to floor maintenance and is not designed to scrub sloped surfaces or pool walls. The listing also does not state the exact battery recharge duration. Additionally, it is intended to collect daily debris between deeper manual cleanings rather than replace heavy seasonal restoration.
Verdict: The BRINBO S2 is a practical choice for above-ground pool owners who want a hassle-free, cordless cleaner for regular floor maintenance. It provides dependable everyday debris pickup across spaces up to 861 square feet with minimal user effort.
