S2 Pool Vacuum Robot for Above Ground Pools, Dark Cyan

The BRINBO S2 is a cordless robotic pool vacuum designed to automate routine floor cleaning in residential swimming setups. It targets pool owners who spend too much time pushing manual brushes or dragging hoses across the pool floor to collect settled grime. With its self-contained rechargeable battery and autonomous movement, this unit is built specifically for above-ground and flat-bottom pools that need regular maintenance without the hassle of plugged-in equipment.

Runtime and coverage are central to how the cleaner operates in daily use. The onboard rechargeable battery delivers up to 90 minutes of continuous cleaning per charge, which provides enough time to cover floor surfaces up to 861 square feet. For backyard pools within that size limit, you can start a cycle and allow the internal motors to drive the machine across the floor while you handle other chores. This steady automated movement picks up settling debris before it builds up on the bottom liner.

Collection performance relies on a dual-layer filtration system powered by the onboard motors. As the vacuum travels over the pool surface, it gathers everyday debris including fallen leaves, outdoor sand, garden dirt, and finer particles. The dual-layer design traps those items inside the body so they do not escape back into the circulating water. When the cycle wraps up, the accessible filter opens up for a quick freshwater rinse, simplifying routine maintenance before the next dip.

There are a few clear functional boundaries to keep in mind. The manufacturer explicitly notes that this cleaner is not intended for in-ground pools fitted with a bottom main drain, nor is it designed for sloped bottoms or walls. Its cleaning action is focused entirely on flat floors. Furthermore, the product data does not specify the exact recharge duration between cycles, the overall weight of the unit, or whether a retrieval hook is provided in the packaging.

Verdict: The BRINBO S2 is a dependable, straightforward floor cleaner for owners of above-ground and flat-bottom pools up to 861 square feet. If you want to eliminate manual floor brushing and prefer a cordless, easy-to-rinse machine, it offers an effective automated cleaning solution.

• Model: S2

A great fit if you:

• Own an above-ground swimming pool with a completely flat bottom that collects sand, dirt, and fallen outdoor leaves.
• Want an untethered, cordless vacuum that runs for up to 90 minutes without managing long power cords in the water.
• Need routine floor maintenance for pool basins measuring up to 861 square feet without pushing a manual pole brush.
• Prefer a simple filtration setup where you can easily remove the filter and rinse debris away after every cleaning session.

Consider something else if you:

• Have an in-ground swimming pool that features an active main drain along the bottom floor surface.
• Need a machine that climbs walls, scrubs the waterline, or cleans pools with sloped and uneven bottom contours.

Confirm on the listing:

• Check your pool floor layout to verify that it is flat and does not include a bottom main drain.
• Measure your total pool floor area to confirm that it stays within the 861 square foot coverage limit.
• Check the included packaging details to see whether a charging cable, retrieval hook, or handle accessory is supplied in the box.
• Confirm the stated battery charging time and charging indicator setup on the product page before your initial use.

How to compare your options: Pool cleaners differ primarily by their power delivery, filtration structure, and pool floor compatibility. Cordless cleaners avoid tangled hoses and cords in the water, but they depend entirely on battery runtime per session. Compare the 90-minute operating window and dual-layer filtration of this model against your pool size to ensure it can complete a thorough floor cycle on one charge.

Charge the built-in battery completely before lowering the robot into your pool so it achieves its full continuous cleaning potential.

Submerge the cleaner gently and verify that the cleaning cycle has initiated before letting it move across the pool floor independently.

Remove the unit from the water promptly once the cleaning cycle concludes, then open the accessible dual-layer filter to rinse out sand, dirt, and trapped leaves under running water.

Allow the rinsed filter and compact body to dry thoroughly, and store the unit safely out of harsh elements between uses.
