Shark NV752 Rotator Powered Lift-Away TruePet Upright Vacuum with HEPA Filter, Large

The Shark NV752 Rotator is an upright vacuum built around a single practical idea: you should not have to stop and swap to a separate cordless tool just to clean under a sofa or along a staircase. Its Powered Lift-Away design lets you press a button, pull the canister free, and keep vacuuming while the brushroll continues spinning under its own power. That combination suits households where pet hair, dust, and everyday debris pile up in awkward spots that a standard upright simply cannot reach.

On the floor, advanced swivel steering makes it easy to thread around chair legs, corners, and furniture edges without constantly backing up and repositioning. Fingertip controls on the handle let you flip between Hard Floor and Carpet modes on the fly, so you are not bending down to adjust a dial every time the surface changes. LED headlights on the nozzle cast light forward to reveal pet hair and debris that blends into dark carpets or shadowy corners, which means fewer missed passes.

For pet owners specifically, the included self-cleaning Pet Power Brush is designed to pull pet hair and ground-in dirt from carpeted stairs and upholstery without the hair wrapping permanently around the brush. The upholstery tool handles curtains, lampshades, and delicate fabrics, while the crevice tool reaches baseboards, ceiling corners, and tight gaps. On the filtration side, an Anti-Allergen Complete Seal works with the HEPA filter to trap 99.9% of particles 0.3 microns or larger inside the machine rather than recirculating them.

A few practical limits are worth noting. The dust cup holds 0.88 quarts, which is workable for most sessions but will need emptying more often in a large home or a heavily shedding household. The listing does not specify cord length, so the reach from any given outlet is an open question. Because this is a corded upright, moving between floors or rooms far from outlets requires planning. The listing also does not mention weight, so shoppers who carry the unit up stairs frequently may want to check that detail before buying.

Verdict: The NV752 is a well-rounded upright for pet owners and allergy-conscious households who want one machine that handles floors, stairs, and upholstery without switching to a separate tool. If your home has a mix of carpet and hard floors and you deal with regular pet hair, the combination of powered lift-away, HEPA filtration, and the self-cleaning pet brush makes a compelling case for this model.

• Dust Cup Capacity: 0.88 quarts

A great fit if you:

• Have one or more pets that shed regularly on carpet, stairs, or furniture
• Want a single vacuum that handles both hard floors and carpet without swapping machines
• Deal with allergies and need a sealed HEPA system to keep fine dust inside the vacuum
• Have furniture low to the ground where a standard upright head cannot fit

Consider something else if you:

• Need a lightweight or cordless option for quick, untethered cleanups between rooms
• Have a very large home where a small dust cup would mean frequent emptying stops

Does the brushroll keep spinning when the canister is detached?
Yes. The Powered Lift-Away design is specifically built so the brushroll continues running after you separate the canister, which is what makes it useful for cleaning under furniture and on stairs.

What does the self-cleaning Pet Power Brush actually do?
It is designed to remove pet hair and ground-in dirt from carpeted stairs and upholstery. The self-cleaning feature means pet hair does not have to be pulled off the brush by hand after each use.

What accessories come in the box?
The vacuum ships with three attachments: a self-cleaning Pet Power Brush, an upholstery tool for delicate fabrics and surfaces, and a crevice tool for baseboards, corners, and ceiling edges.

Can it switch between carpet and hard floors?
Yes. Fingertip controls on the vacuum let you toggle between Hard Floor and Carpet modes without stopping or bending down to adjust a setting.
