BISSELL TurboClean Pet XL Upright Carpet Cleaner, 3746

The BISSELL TurboClean Pet XL Upright Carpet Cleaner (model 3746) is built to handle embedded pet messes and routine floor maintenance. Designed for pet owners and busy households, it tackles dirty carpets with a wide 10-inch cleaning path that reduces the number of passes needed across a room.

For deep cleaning, the machine relies on a 4-Row DeepReach PowerBrush that lifts embedded pet stains and dander allergens from carpet fibers. It comes with two specialized solutions: PRO MAX Clean and Protect formula featuring StainProtect Technology, and a bonus Pet Stain and Odor + Antibacterial Formula. A 1-gallon clean water tank cuts down on frequent trips to the sink during extended cleaning sessions.

Beyond open floors, this upright model includes attachments for above-floor surfaces. The 3-inch Tough Stain Tool targets spots on baseboards, stairs, pet beds, and upholstery, while the Spraying Crevice Tool concentrates fluid and suction into tight corners and narrow gaps.

As an upright machine, it takes up more storage space than a handheld spot cleaner. The listing also leaves out specific measurements for the power cord, hose reach, machine weight, and dirty tank volume, so you will need to plan for standard upright storage.

Verdict: The BISSELL TurboClean Pet XL is a dependable choice for pet owners seeking a dedicated upright cleaner for large carpets and spot-cleaning tools for furniture. Its 1-gallon capacity and wide path make it well-suited for full-room carpet care.

A great fit if you:

• Have pets and need to clean set-in messes, odors, and dander allergens from carpets.
• Want to refresh upholstery, stairs, baseboards, and pet beds with specialized attachments.
• Prefer fewer interruptions during cleaning thanks to a 1-gallon clean water tank.

Consider something else if you:

• Need a compact, lightweight handheld unit exclusively for tiny spot treatments.
• Do not have the floor or closet space to store a full-size upright cleaner.
