EUREKA PowerSpeed Lightweight Powerful Upright Vacuum Cleaner for Carpet and Hard Floor,

The Eureka PowerSpeed Upright Vacuum Cleaner is an easy-to-handle cleaning tool designed for households with mixed flooring and pet hair. Weighing in at just 10 pounds, this upright model solves the hassle of lugging heavy machinery across rooms or up staircases without sacrificing deep cleaning capability.

Floor versatility is central to the design, featuring five distinct height adjustment settings to accommodate everything from bare hard floors to deep carpets. A spacious 2.6-liter bagless dust cup holds substantial debris, allowing for longer sessions with fewer trips to the trash can. Maintenance remains straightforward with washable foam filtration, eliminating the recurring expense of replacement bags or filters.

Pet owners and detail-oriented cleaners benefit from an included set of accessories: a pet turbo tool, crevice tool, dusting brush, and upholstery tool. All four attachments store directly on the vacuum body, making above-floor surfaces, furniture, and tight crevices accessible during routine cleaning.

One notable trade-off is the maintenance requirement for the brush roll and drive system. The manufacturer notes that hair and dirt can clog the floor brush, recommending roller and belt maintenance every two weeks to prevent malfunctions, belt breakage, or smoke. Additionally, the specifications do not provide the power cord length or motor wattage.

Verdict: The Eureka PowerSpeed is an excellent, low-cost choice for pet owners and apartment dwellers who want a lightweight upright with dedicated attachments. It is best suited for buyers willing to perform regular bi-weekly brush maintenance to keep it running smoothly.
