Hoover FloorMate Deluxe Hard Floor Cleaner Machine, Wash and Dry Mode

The Hoover FloorMate Deluxe Hard Floor Cleaner Machine is a lightweight upright cleaner built specifically for sealed hard surfaces. It combines active scrubbing with water extraction, giving homeowners a practical tool for lifting stuck-on dirt without traditional mopping.

Cleaning is driven by Hoover's SpinScrub brushes and a dual-mode system. In wash mode, the brushes rotate to scrub sealed hardwood, tile, vinyl, and laminate while suctioning up excess liquid. Switching to dry mode stops the spinning brushes entirely, focusing the machine on picking up remaining water to reduce drying time. You can easily switch between these settings using the fingertip controls.

To maintain clean results across large rooms, the machine features dual tank technology. One tank holds fresh water mixed with cleaning solution, while a completely separate tank collects the suctioned dirty water, ensuring you never push dirty liquid back over your floors. A trial bottle of hard floor cleaning solution is included in the box.

Because this machine is built specifically for hard floors, it is not suitable for cleaning carpets or area rugs. Additionally, the manufacturer does not list exact tank capacities, weight figures, or cord length in the specifications.

Verdict: The Hoover FloorMate Deluxe is a strong choice for anyone with extensive sealed hard flooring who wants dedicated scrubbing and quick drying in one upright unit.
