Detailed Review
The Hoover SmartWash+ Automatic Carpet Cleaner is an upright washing machine built to tackle deep embedded dirt and pet messes across household carpets. It removes the guesswork from traditional carpet cleaning by using a motion sensing design that operates without any manual buttons or trigger squeezing.
Using the machine is as simple as pushing forward to wash and pulling backward to dry. As you move it, the Auto Mix system precisely measures and dispenses cleaning solution into the water stream. Deep down, FlexForce PowerBrushes scrub away grime and pet messes while remaining gentle on floor surfaces, and HeatForce Technology works alongside strong extraction to pull out dirty water and dry floors faster.
For areas beyond open floors, the package includes an 8-foot hose paired with specialized attachments. You get a 2-in-1 Pet Tool, a dedicated Stair Tool, a sample bottle of cleaning solution, and an accessory storage bag to keep everything organized between uses.
Because this is a full upright unit, it requires dedicated storage space compared to compact portable cleaners. The product details also do not specify tank capacities, power cord length, or the total weight of the machine.
Verdict: The Hoover SmartWash+ is an excellent choice for pet owners and busy households who want hassle-free, triggerless carpet cleaning with automatic solution mixing and specialized above-floor tools.
