Detailed Review
The Bissell 2254 CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet is a corded upright bagless vacuum designed to manage embedded pet hair and household dirt across multiple floor types. Built for homes with shedding animals, it pairs active agitation with edge-to-edge suction so you can pick up debris along baseboards without extra passes.
Floor cleaning is powered by a triple action brush roll that loosens and lifts hair from carpets while utilizing scatter-free technology to keep dry messes from blowing across hard floors. Navigating around chairs and table legs is simplified through swivel steering, while specialized pet tools attach directly to the machine for above-floor tasks on furniture and stairs.
Storage and maintenance are straightforward. The 27-foot power cord automatically rewinds into the unit with a single button press, eliminating manual winding. The large-capacity dirt tank holds more debris between pauses and features an easy-empty design to quickly dump collected hair and dust.
As an upright corded model, it does require managing a physical cable during use, and the manufacturer does not specify the vacuum's total weight or the exact measurements of the included pet tools. Buyers looking for an ultra-compact or cordless format should keep its traditional upright footprint in mind.
Verdict: The Bissell 2254 CleanView is a capable choice for pet owners seeking dependable carpet lifting, bare-floor control, and push-button cord storage. It delivers practical floor-to-ceiling cleaning versatility for busy households.
