Shark Detect Lift-Away Corded Vacuum, Brushroll, Burgundy, LA492

The Shark Detect Lift-Away LA492 is a corded upright vacuum designed for thorough floor-to-ceiling home cleaning. It suits homeowners who move frequently between different surfaces and need a versatile machine that can handle both open flooring and above-floor areas without complicated manual adjustments.

Cleaning across multiple rooms is streamlined thanks to the Intelli-Sense ultrasonic sensor, which detects the current floor type and changes the brushroll speed automatically. In addition, direction detection optimizes suction whether you are pushing forward or pulling backward, ensuring effective pickup on every stroke.

For above-floor cleaning, stepping on the pedal releases the detachable Lift-Away pod, making it easy to carry the main unit to stairs and furniture. Integrated LED headlights on the nozzle also illuminate dark areas under tables and baseboards so you do not miss scattered debris.

As a corded upright model, it relies on standard wall outlets, though the product listing does not state the exact cord length, total weight, or dust cup capacity. Buyers who need to know specific technical measurements or included accessory attachments before purchasing will find limited details in the provided data.

Verdict: The Shark Detect Lift-Away LA492 is an excellent choice for shoppers seeking an intelligent upright vacuum with automatic surface adaptation and versatile pod portability. It is especially well-suited for households with a mix of flooring, furniture, and staircases.
