Shark UV730 Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum, PowerFins HairPro Self-Cleaning Brushroll, HEPA Filter

The Shark UV730 Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum is a versatile cleaning system designed for multi-surface homes and pet owners. It combines traditional upright suction with a portable pod design, allowing you to tackle both floor-level mess and elevated areas with one machine.

Daily floor transitions are straightforward thanks to the manual brushroll shutoff, which lets you switch from deep carpet agitation to gentle bare floor care instantly. Maneuvering around table legs and tight spaces is simplified with swivel steering, while the front LED headlights illuminate low-light areas so hidden debris does not get missed. For homes with pets, the PowerFins HairPro self-cleaning brushroll helps keep the roller clear as you clean.

Versatility extends above the floor with the Lift-Away system. You can detach the main canister to carry the unit for stair cleaning, or release the nozzle to reach curtains, upholstery, and baseboards using the included dust brush and crevice tool. Filtration is handled by Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology paired with a HEPA filter, keeping captured dust particles securely inside the vacuum.

When considering potential limits, the 0.8-quart dust cup provides reasonable capacity for quick jobs but may require multiple trips to the trash during heavy cleaning. Additionally, the product listing does not state the machine weight, cord length, or sound output, which may matter if you have a multi-story home.

Verdict: The Shark UV730 is a reliable choice for homeowners who want a versatile upright vacuum capable of managing carpets, hard floors, and stairs in one pass. It suits anyone needing dependable filtration and flexible above-floor reach.

• Need to clean both carpets and hard floors with a simple brushroll switch
